  1. This is a release of MySQL 3.23.53 for Win32.

  3. NOTE: If you install MySQL in a folder other than
  4. C:\MYSQL or you intend to start MySQL on NT/Win2000
  5. as a service, you must create a file named C:\MY.CNF
  6. or \Windows\my.ini or \winnt\my.ini with the following
  7. information::

  9. [mysqld]
  10. basedir=E:/installation-path/
  11. datadir=E:/data-path/
  12.  
  13. After your have installed MySQL, the installation
  14. directory  which contains the files named 'my-size.cnf'.
  15. You can use this as a starting point for your own
  16. C:\my.cnf file.
